A Grondly Correspondence

HyperGrond happens to be very temperamental at times. The other day, I'd mentioned the word Grond in our correspondence just once. He sent me a scathing reply not to do so, as he gronds less than me. To spite him, I sent a Grondly reply (The first letter below.) I'd underestimated him. Check out his reply to me. GrondMaster

My insanely Grondly Grondmaster Gronder of grondly, grondlier and grondliest proportions!

In that case I will respond in an extremely grondly manner so as to enable the grond hyper in me to grondly grond you till you grond yourself to stop gronding me in a manner that is very ungrondly. I feel grondly better after a crocin and some very grondly grond food. I will be going to grond at my grondly work place and pursue the grondly task of gronding for grondly Ms. "V". Now thats a grondly thought. You may be the Grondly grond master , but I am the GrondHyper one of the two source gronds of grondly grondomania! Grond on The Web

While Gronding on the web the other day, I Googled the word 'grond' and decided to include the first LOTR related entry into the blog. It is this entry that I write about below. Surprisingly, in the top ten, only one is LOTR related, and only four are in English. Does the word 'grond' mean anything specific in other languages?

Location: The Great Gate of Minas Tirith
Meaning: Ultimately from the Elvish grond, meaning 'club'

The battering ram used to destroy Minas Tirith's Great Gate during the Battle of the Pelennor. It took its name from the ancient weapon of Morgoth: Grond, the Hammer of the Underworld.
